Peace is within us, born from acceptance and faith

Peace is within us, born from acceptance and faith. And it can exist no matter what we are going through. I was a relatively happy child. But at eighteen, life brought me anxiety and depression. From then on, every day became a quiet battle to simply keep going. Later, when I entered into a relationship, things began to get better. But one day, it ended—suddenly. Everything I had built around me fell apart.

With challenges at work and no support system except my father, I lost all sense of self-worth. I thought it was over. And then, when I hit rock bottom, I discovered Gratitude. That was the first step toward healing. Since then, I’ve learned to focus more on what I have, and less on what I don’t. Even for the things I still lack, I’ve realized—life is a process. It requires patience, not impulsiveness.

Now, I connect with people more deeply. I reflect on my mistakes, not with guilt or shame, but with the intention to grow. Life is still uncertain, but it feels manageable now. With a better mindset, less stress, and calmer emotions, I’ve learned to appreciate the simple joys: my pets, my books, and the small improvements at work. Peace is within us. It comes from acceptance and faith—and it can exist no matter our circumstances. If we believe in ourselves and in the Universe, it will always guide us toward our highest good.
