Daily Tai Chi Part 1 Warm-up

Daily Tai Chi – Part 1 – Warm-up

Welcome to calmeveryday.com Find your Inner Peace
This is your daily Gentle Tai Chi session. Let’s begin with a warm-up to prepare your body and mind. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Soften your knees slightly. Relax your shoulders and let your arms hang loosely. Begin by rolling your shoulders slowly — up, back, and down. Breathe in as you raise your shoulders, breathe out as you lower them. Let’s loosen the neck. Gently turn your head from side to side, keeping your chin level. Feel the gentle stretch through your neck. Now slowly raise your arms out to the sides as you breathe in…and lower them as you breathe out. Let’s move to your wrists — make slow circles, one direction, then the other. Continue with small ankle circles, keeping your balance with a light chair if needed. Repeat this three times, allowing your breath to guide your movement. This warm-up prepares the body for gentle flow and balance. When you’re ready, let’s move into centering and breath control.
