Daily Tai Chi – Part 2 – Breath and Centering

Welcome to calmeveryday.com Find your Inner Peace.
This is your daily Gentle Tai Chi session. Now that your body is awake, let’s bring your mind into focus. Let’s move into Breath and Centering — the foundation of Tai Chi. Stand tall, feet shoulder-width apart, knees soft. Place one hand on your belly and one on your chest. Take a slow breath in through your nose, feeling your belly rise. Exhale gently through your mouth, feeling your belly fall. Repeat this breathing — in for four… out for six. Imagine your breath traveling down into your center — your dantian, just below the navel. With each inhale, imagine drawing in calm energy. With each exhale, release any tension or heaviness. Feel your body grounding into the floor. Let your mind settle. Your breath connects movement, balance, and calm. One last deep breath in… and release. You are centered and ready to flow. This is where your movement and energy flow begin.
